WASHOE REPUBLICAN WOMEN’S OUTSTANDING STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

This $2000 scholarship is awarded to a female high school senior in Washoe County with goals to further their education.
The scholarship is merit-based with emphasis on activities promoting community involvement and the Republican political process, as well as financial need. Details are announced in February with applications and information sent to school counselors. Applications are due in March and awarded in May. Recipient is celebrated as our guest at the Washoe Republican Women’s Luncheon in May.

WRW teams with Nevada Federation of Republican Women to reward a female college student in Northern Nevada.
Our sponsored candidate becomes eligible for a $1000 award for higher education.
